These terms govern your use of The Question mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms.
The Question is a daily intention-setting app. You answer one question each morning: "What will make today matter?" The App tracks your streak and stores your answers locally on your device.
No account is required to use The Question. There is no username, no password, no login. The App works immediately upon download.
The Question offers optional Premium subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store.
Free Trial: Premium plans include a free trial period. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. Weekly subscriptions renew every 7 days. Annual subscriptions renew every 12 months. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > The Question. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
Price Changes: If we change subscription pricing, we will notify you in advance. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after notice is given.

Your answers and app data are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. You are responsible for your device and the data on it. If you delete the app, your data is permanently deleted.
If you provide your email address for our newsletter, it is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
The Question is a personal productivity tool. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems; or redistribute or resell the App or its content.
The Question, its design, content, and branding are owned by us. Your answers belong to you. We never access, read, or use your answers in any way.
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on using the App. The Question is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
